As the silicone facade system, the first applied glass facade solutions are glass facade systems with structural silicone cassettes. Glasses are bonded to aluminium frames (cassettes) prepared by bonding process using special constructive silicones. After the curing time of the silicone, the panels that are shipped to the site are suspended on the vertical alumi­num bearing profile and EPDM gasket are used for the joints.

This widely prefered facade solution is an alternative for silicone facade. The glass is fixed on the vertical and horizontal profile with the help of system-specific elips called 'tougle' from the parts of the spacer and joints between glasses are filled with silicone. Structural glazed curtain walls is an economic alternative solution for silicon facades. lt's economical for saving from Cassette profile costs and bonding operation costs.

They are the systems where glass is fixed on vertical and horizontal profiles with capped pro­file. it is a more stable solution in terms of glass statics because the system supports the glass diagonally from all sides. lf the glass change is required, the capped and cover profiles are re­moved, the glass change is made and the capped and cover is re-installed. Alternative architec­tural effects can be created on the facade by choosing the different capped profile.

The glass is fixed in vertical and horizontal profiles with the capped profile on only one axis as horizontal or vertical, and on the other axis it is fixed with the clamps depend­ing on the facade solution. it is mostly pre­ferred to give horizontal or vertical decora­tive effect to the structure. The solution can be produced with many different cover alter­natives in different forms.

The unitized facade; created by hanging glass panels fixed to reinforced concrete with special anchors. Compared to classical facades, less installation human resource are needed and assembly is completed in less time. However, the cost of the fabrica­tion phase and the system details bring some limitations. it is usually solved by custom design profile systems. it is especial­ly preferred for the bulky projects with time constraints, because it allows for concurrent assembly with the reinforced concrete struc­ture at the project stage. Panel facades are also facade solutions with high earthquake resistance.

Skylight Systems are developed as ideal solutions to create environments filled with sunlight and filtered daylight. in these sys­tems, which are constructed using special aluminum profiles, the heat loss is virtually eliminated by using polycarbonate sheets or special safety double glazing. On request, smoke extraction solutions can be applied in skylight system.

Facade solutions designed to minimize grid perception on the facade and provide more visibility. Unlike other systems, the sub-frame system in the transparent facade system consists of glass or stainless steel el­ements instead of aluminum profiles.
